MASTERS AGE-GROUP WORLD RECORDS
2008 updates thanks to Mike Murdock
The following records represent the top throws for each event and age class by masters competitors. To qualify as a World Record (top of the class) the result must have occurred as part of a full highland athletics competition and must be measured accurately and attested to by at least two certified judges and the implement must be certified as to weight and dimension by the athletic director of the games at which the throw was made. Record throws need not be made in a masters competition. Pro throws in red. To qualify for a U200 record, the throw must have been made by an athlete who was weight certified for that competition by the Athletic Director and the AD must certify that fact to me. The competitor may compete in any class as long as weight is certified. While not listed in the chart below, U200 records are at the bottom of this page.
