At 50-54 Hans-Dieter Dorow (left below) and Al Stagner (right) battle it out
in the weight-over-the-bar. Believe it or not, both of these tosses were
far above
the bar but neither made it over.
Crossbars were 1x2 wood and gave the crowd a lot of pleasure when
they broke.
